Last night marked an important chapter in the continuing story of Iota-Phi Zeta — the initiation of our 2025 Fall Class. For our brotherhood, this wasn’t just another ceremony; it was a celebration of renewal, growth, and the legacy we continue to build together.
To the newly initiated twenty-six brothers: congratulations and welcome to the Bond. You join a tradition of leadership, service, and lifelong brotherhood, and we’re excited to walk this journey with you. The future of Iota-Phi Zeta is stronger because of each one of you.
We were honored to have the Lambda Chi Alpha chapter from Appalachian State travel to us and perform the ritual. Their commitment to upholding the high standards of Lambda Chi Alpha was evident throughout the evening, and their willingness to support our chapter made the night truly special.
We are also thankful to the National Office for their work in bringing our chapter back to campus. Their guidance and persistence played a vital role in making this milestone possible, and we’re proud to be part of a national brotherhood that invests so deeply in its chapters.
A heartfelt thank you goes to Brother Gary Van Landingham, whose behind-the-scenes work ensured the night ran flawlessly — from securing the venue, to arranging catering, and to providing materials for the ritual. His dedication embodies what it means to serve the chapter.
And to all of the alumni who attended, stepped up, and supported the event: thank you. Your presence, guidance, and willingness to jump in wherever needed made the day run smoothly and reminded us all of the power of our shared bond.
As we look ahead, we do so with pride, gratitude, and excitement for the next chapter of Iota-Phi Zeta.
