Will there be a shuttle service to/from JH Adams Inn or Spring Hill Suites to Cogdon Yards for the Banquet.
Unfortunately, there will not be a shuttle to the banquet. There is plenty of parking near the venue or please take a ride share if you plan to consume alcohol.
Can we bring children to the Chartering Banquet?
Children are kindly requested not to attend the Chartering Banquet. There are a lot of other family friendly events throughout the rest of homecoming weekend.
What is included with the Chartering Banquet Ticket?
Your Chartering Banquet Ticket includes admission to the signature celebration of the weekend, featuring an elegant dinner, cash bar, special program, and commemorative ceremony honoring the Chartering Celebration of the Lambda Chi Alpha Iota-Phi Zeta Chapter.
Guests will enjoy an evening of fellowship with alumni, undergraduate brothers, family, and friends as we celebrate our chapter’s rich history, recognize those who have helped shape its legacy, and look ahead to its bright future.
What is the recommended attire for the Chartering Banquet? Do I need to wear a tux? Do I need to wear a coat & tie?
The recommended attire for the Chartering Banquet is formal wear.
Guests are encouraged to dress in formal attire such as tuxedos or suits for men and evening gowns or cocktail dresses for women. However, it is not mandatory to wear a tuxedo; a formal suit with a tie or a coat and tie is appropriate.
Is there a dress code for the Formal Chapter Meeting on Sunday?
The recommended attire for the Formal Chapter Meeting on Sunday is suit with tie or a coat and tie.
Why are there no listed room rates for the JH Adams Inn?
The JH Adams Inn is a boutique hotel and each room is different. We have worked with the hotel to hold rooms for our group before they are sold to the general public coming to homecoming. This hotel will sellout.
How long will the hotel rate at SpringHill Suites be good for?
The discounted room rate of $179 + taxes is only good until 10/5/2026. After that rate the room will be market cost.
Do I need to register with High Point University to attend the events at the University?
Yes. Alumni, family, and guests who plan to attend events hosted on the High Point University campus will need to complete the University’s registration process in advance. This allows HPU to properly plan for attendance and ensure guests have access to the campus events throughout the weekend.
When completing your registration, please select the events you plan to attend. The following High Point University events are part of what we are encourage alumni and their families to attend during the weekend celebration:
