Brothers of Iota-Phi Zeta,
Spring finds us in a season of real momentum.
We currently have 10 Associate Members in the chapter for the spring—10 young men who have
chosen Lambda Chi Alpha at High Point University and who represent the continued growth of
something that began more than seven decades ago. Even more exciting, we are now on the cusp of
initiating Iota-Phi Zeta 1000. That milestone is not just a number—it is a testament to the legacy built by
our Founding Fathers and sustained by every brother who has worn our letters since.
This semester we will hold a special initiation for a Fall Associate Member who had an unexpected family
emergency and was not able to be initiated in the Fall and has patiently waited to complete his journey
into full brotherhood. We will also conduct an Honorary Initiation for Rev. Dr. McKennon Shea, Vice
President for Development at High Point University, recognizing his belief in and support of what we are
building. The Spring Initiation will take place on April 10 (more details to follow). These moments
matter. Ritual binds generations together, and every initiation strengthens the foundation we are
rebuilding.
We are also proud to share that we now have a full set of ritual equipment secured. This was made
possible through the generosity of several Brothers and through donations to the Alumni Association.
Because of your support, the chapter is equipped to operate with excellence and dignity for their first
initiation.
On the alumni front, our Association continues to grow as well. We now have 30 members of the
Alumni Association, and that number will only increase as more brothers reengage. A strong
undergraduate chapter requires a strong alumni base, and we are building both simultaneously.
While we celebrate progress, sustainability must remain our focus. Ongoing financial support is
essential—not only for operational stability but to ensure our undergraduate leaders can attend
leadership conferences and training opportunities that will accelerate their development and position us
to meet chartering standards. Investing in their growth is investing directly in the long-term strength of
Iota-Phi Zeta.
Looking ahead, High Point University has announced Fall 2026 Homecoming, and we should begin
thinking now about how we show up in a strong and visible way. More details will follow, but mark your
calendars for November 5-8, 2026. The return of Lambda Chi Alpha to campus deserves to be celebrated at every opportunity.
The momentum is real. The milestones are within reach. And none of it happens without you.
As always, if you have any questions or there is anything we can do for you, please feel free to reach out
to me or any of the Alumni Association officers. Thank you for your continued investment of time,
talent, and resources. The future of Iota-Phi Zeta is bright because of the brothers who continue to
believe in it.
Yours in ZAX,
George Taylor (IPZ 758)
