It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Janice Osborne, a cherished member of our Lambda Chi Alpha family. On Tuesday, April 16, Janice peacefully departed after bravely battling Alzheimer’s disease. She leaves behind a legacy of warmth, kindness, and profound impact on all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Janice was the beloved spouse of our Brother Murphy Osborne (IPZ 76), a former Grand High Alpha, and her presence within our fraternity was truly invaluable. As an International Crescent Girl, she exemplified the spirit of our organization and brought joy to countless Brothers through her genuine interactions and unwavering support.

To honor Janice’s memory and celebrate her remarkable life, a Service of Celebration and Thanksgiving will be held on Saturday, April 27, 2024, at First Baptist Church, located at 99 N. Salisbury St., Raleigh, NC 27603, starting at 11:00 AM.

In lieu of flowers, the family has suggested memorial donations be made to The Clothing Ministry at First Baptist Church in Raleigh, NC 27603. As a gesture of our love and support, we are collecting donations on behalf of Iota-Phi Zeta for this worthy cause. If you would like to contribute, please click the button below.
